My Happy Little Life...Full of To Do Lists!

I am very much a person that has a list of things to do and is always trying to cross them all off the list, which guess what...NEVER HAPPENS! I am not sure if it is better to make a list or just forget about it all together.

For now...here is part of my list...
*Work on my blog!
*Touch up Paint!
*Sew!
*Cook and bake!
*Exercise
*Enjoy the summer

I know this list is not very specific, but I can't even think enough to make a list!

Ha...Blogging is Addicting...2 years later!

Okay, so after much effort (because I forgot my password) I opened my blog and noticed my last blog was about 2 years ago. The funny thing about this was my last post was titled, "Blogging...it's addicting"! Okay, I let me just say I still check blogs often, just not mine!

However, summer is here! Okay, not officially, but summer break is here! Of course with that comes new goals. And blogging is one of them. I have loved checking my sister's blog and reading all of her updates on Alyssa, so I will try to be much better with that. Of course, now I have to remember how to change my screen and add pictures, but one thing at a time. So, for now, I am back....and if not....I will see you in 2 years!

Blogging...it's addicting!!

Blogging is addicting to me...okay, not so much the writing in my own blog but reading others. I can hop onto the computer for what I think will be a few minutes and two hours later (yes, that is right) I think it is time to stop ignoring my children. Okay, before anyone gets down on me for that..2 hours is a rare occasion and usually while the lil' ones are sleeping.

But there are some really amazing things that you can find while blogging. I have found lots of crafts, recipes, and met (not really, but read about) some really amzing and inspiring people. And who doesn't need to be inspired every once in awhile. My plan is to stop browsing at so many of these ideas and actually do them...we will see what I can come up with!!

I am still here!

Okay, so I really don't have much to say right now...in the middle of something, but i just thought my sister would freak out to see that my post has been updated. I think I am going to try 30 blogs in 30 days....hopefully, I don't get to day 30 and have to post 10 times!! We will see!! Hi Sherri!

A Great American Past Time!

Okay, so I have mentioned it a couple of times and if you have talked to me recently you know I have a new hobbie...sewing! (Don't worry, honey...I will not be making you clothes (yet))!

My cousin kindly reminded me that when she got a new sewing machine a while back...I made fun of her. Now I am not the name calling kind, so I am doubtful she is remembering correctly; however, I will admit that I used to think of sewing as a little ...dorky. It was a motherly and grandmotherly thing to do...they sew things that you are not quite sure you want to wear. Now, my outlook has changed. I began finding some sewing blogs and let me just say, that sewing is not what it used to be (or at least what I thought it used to be). So, I bought a sewing machine and away I go. I will post some projects I have been working on so you can see just how 'not dorky' it is!!

Country Girl

I would like to think of myself as a "country" girl, even though Jeff might completely laugh at that! I lived on a farm my whole life...chickens, pigs, cattle, chores to do, garden to grow...can't spend the night at my friends house because we are busy picking corn (yes, mom, we were deprived!) Such great memories!! And I love to see my little darlings doing the same kinds of things that I did.

So, here is a picture of my little country girl helping "Grandpa Papa" with chores. She loves this now, but I am sure when she is older he will ask if she wants to help and she will be too busy texting, or who knows what kids will be doing then?! For now, she does love to help, except when she falls in cow poo!! I can't wait to see what other country pics I can get in the future...

(Yeah...I posted a picture!) Maybe...okay, now I did it...I had adjusted the coloring , but could not post that one...maybe later!

Trying to figure this out...

Okay, so I talked to my sister and she said very bluntly, "So, you put up one post and you think you are blogging?!" What could I say...I am still trying to figure this all out! I have blog stalked for quite some time...so I know the cuteness potential...and I want cuteness... a lot of cuteness! Plus, I am not quite sure I want Jeff to see my posts yet...he already thinks I am a dork since I started sewing (more on that great American past time later!!) like he needs more evidence. I will probably do some trial post and see how this all works with pics and links to others...stay tuned!
